This was at the beach at our hotel, there was alot of rocks on the beach, but it was beautiful. The water was warm and so turquise.

Our nice night out. WOW Lisa, you look soooo tan!!!! I do not put on sunscreen (as you can tell), so the first day, I really got red, but now it is tanning. Allsion and Lisa are very good about covering their skin. This picture was taken in the lobby of our hotel. We stayed at the Omni Cancun.

This is the one of the ruins at Chichen Itza, it is quite amazing here. I learned that the world is supposed to end on December 21, 2012, according to the Mayan calender.....
This past Thursday, I met up with my friends Allison Vanderwood and Lisa Moarefdoust in Cancun, Mexico to celebrate our 40th birthdays. It was AWESOME!!! It was great to have girl time with two of my closest friends. We had a fun filled 6 days together. We went to Tulum to see the Ruins and spend the day on the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, we went shopping in Playa Del Carmen and ate at a wonderful authentic mexican restaurant and went to a chocolate shop. We also went to Chichen Itza to see the Mayan Ruins, saw the way the Mayans live, and went to a Senote to swim in, that kind of creeped me out!!! It was in a cave....we also went to Selvatica to do the ziplines through the jungle. That scared the crap out of me, so I inherited a little guide for myself to help me through it!!! We also rode bikes through the jungle to get to an outdoor senote. I had such a blast with Allison and Lisa, now I wish that I can do a trip every year for my birthday!!!

I love you so much for telling me that I look tan!! I miss you already my friend!! I'm already trying to decide where we should go next year....wait let me guess...we'd have to bring Mike along this time - right?? Love ya!!
