Food Storage

Okay, I am excited!!! As you all know, I am a horrible shopper (I get that talent from my mom:), so lately I have been trying to figure out ways to be a better bargain shopper. I have started clipping coupons and shopping at multiple stores instead of just one store. My shopping is taking more time, but the money I am saving is worth it. I got all of these groceries today for under $100!!!! I couldn't believe it. I think that Mike was happy with my shopping also. I have been working really hard towards our food storage this past year, and today I am feeling that I did a wonderful job adding to it. Just so you know, I really never take pictures of my groceries, but I just wanted to share my accomplishment.

I don't know if you know this or if your Walmart does this but we can price match...just bring in your ads and they will give you the price of another store for any groceries (meat, produce, milk, etc) so you only have to go to one place. They just won't do % offs, or buy one get one free. Let me know if you can.

I forgot to tell you ...there is this website called sistersavings.net that has some good savings tips. They also list the grocery store sales for AZ and UT so all you have to do is print the list and go to Walmart - maybe someday they will have CO. OK...I think that is all I have to say on this subject...cute kitchen by the way.

I have done the Safeway delivery which saves me time and money. I only get things I need instead of going to the store and buying impulse items.

I've also found when I don't have my kids with me it saves time and money. I can pay more attention to prices and what we actually need.

Nice job, Diana! I love to bargain shop! I would say that the best item on your counter is the Wild Cherry Pepsi! I LOVE that stuff! It's a must have for the food storage around here because living without it (or Dr. P) could make a grumpy mom, and who wants that?

Good job Diana!! Shopping for food is my FAVORITE thing to do:) I used to clip coupons, but I'm afraid I've become lazy these days, though when I see something really good advertised someplace I go for it!!
Have fun shopping:)
