Thanksgiving, snowboarding, birthdays, oh my!!!

Bradley, Rusty, Brian, Jacob, Brenton, Mike and Bristyn

Dang, its been awhile since I have updated this blog!! We have had a very busy last couple of weeks. To begin with, for the last 6 years I have been dealing with a "swallowing" issue, and I finally decided to go to a doctor and find out what is going on. It got to the point where I was throwing up everytime that I ate, I should be anorexic skinny, but obviously I am still getting all of my calories!! Turns out, my esophagus shrunk and I had an infection in my esophagus, I am now on a steroid treatment for 30 days and I have felt great since my procedure last Monday!! For Thanksgiving we went to Millies house, as usual, the food was wonderful!!! After eating, we headed up to the Rocky Mountains! We stayed with my sister, Liz, in Frisco for 3 nights. The kids got to snowboard in Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone. They loved it!! It was our nephew Jacobs birthday and he came up with his dad to go snowboarding for the day at Breckenridge. Our son, Brad, lives in Frsico and loves it! He is a total mountain man! I always give him a hard time about having his long hair and beard, but as I looked around all the men who live in the mountain look exactly like that!! Bristyn wants to live in the mountains now, she has become a really good snowboarder...oh, I just go up to the mountains to relax and catch up on my reading!
